What moccasin slipper types do you develop?
We develop five moccasin slipper types for defined use.
Our scope covers Classic Moccasin, Venetian / Loafer, Scuff, Boot Moc / Encore, and Kids Moccasin Slippers. Each case is classified as Indoor-Only Use or Indoor / Light Outdoor Use. Existing outsole directions include Molded TPR, Molded Vulcanized Rubber, and Smooth Leather, subject to sample and test confirmation.
Condition Notice: Excluded from production: Driving moccasins, fashion dress shoes, athletic outdoor sneakers, and open-stock retail products.
Which materials and customization options are available?
Materials, comfort components and branding are selected by project.
Upper options include Smooth Cow Leather, Cow Suede, Sheep Suede, Shearling, Faux Suede, Knit Fabric, and Felt. Lining, footbed cover, cushioning, outsole, construction, logo application, and private-label options are selected from the current product fields and confirmed through physical samples.
Condition Notice: Custom material MOQ and yield factors are calculated individually per dye-lot and colorway.
Can you quote from a reference photo?
A formal quotation follows physical sample and material evaluation.
Mocario does not issue a formal price from standalone photos or digital concepts. Formal FOB unit pricing follows completion of the physical development sample and factory evaluation of the actual materials, construction, labor and commercial requirements.
Condition Notice: Client target prices serve solely to judge preliminary feasibility, not as locked purchase agreements.
Who makes the development samples?
Our partner factory makes paid development samples for review.
The partner factory makes each paid development sample after the brief and fee are confirmed. Mocario reviews the sample, dimensions, materials, construction, and visible execution before submission to the buyer. If the sample does not follow the agreed brief, it is corrected before approval.
Condition Notice: Customer-requested design pivots or material switches require re-evaluation and development revision billing.
When does PPS take place and production begin?
PPS approval is required before bulk purchasing and production.
After PO and initial payment, the partner factory makes a Pre-Production Sample using the intended bulk materials, approved components, construction, and packaging references. Bulk material purchasing and production begin only after the buyer provides formal written PPS approval.
Condition Notice: Every subsequent bulk reorder requires an updated PPS confirmation cycle.
How are MOQ, PO and payment terms confirmed?
MOQ and commercial terms are confirmed for each project.
Purchase Orders are checked against the frozen Bill of Materials (BOM), size grading, packaging specifications and commercial delivery terms. PI confirmation is recorded by signed return or customer email. Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ) and production windows remain project-specific.
Condition Notice: Mocario operates strictly on USD currency with standard FOB Ningbo transaction terms.
How is quality controlled during production?
Approved samples, frozen specifications and process checks guide quality.
Quality parameters are established against the approved sample, frozen BOM records and agreed defect classifications and AQL. The partner factory performs process checks across incoming materials, cutting, stitching, assembly, footbed and outsole alignment, finishing and packing.
Condition Notice: Unapproved material substitutions are strictly prohibited under our partner contract.
Who performs pre-shipment inspection?
Mocario performs a random factory inspection before shipment release.
Mocario personnel conduct a random pre-shipment inspection at the partner factory before shipment release. When requested by the buyer, Mocario can coordinate an independent third-party inspection with the inspection cost borne by the buyer to provide additional inspection evidence.
Condition Notice: Critical defects halt cargo dispatch until written client resolution directives are documented.
Which testing or compliance requirements can be supported?
Testing is defined by the product, target market and buyer protocol.
Testing requirements are defined by the destination market, buyer protocol, intended use, materials, and approved construction. The agreed scope may include restricted-substance review, outsole flexing, upper-to-sole adhesion, colorfastness, seam strength, or slip performance; no single test package is assumed for every project.
Condition Notice: Testing requirements must be defined prior to PO execution; third-party lab fees are client-borne.
What does FOB Ningbo include?
Mocario manages export clearance and handover at Ningbo port.
Mocario manages legal Chinese export declarations, inland factory-to-dock drayage, and commercial port clearance at Port of Ningbo under FOB terms. The client or their appointed ocean freight forwarder coordinates international vessel booking, maritime cargo insurance, import customs clearance, and destination drayage.
Condition Notice: Delays resulting from late forwarder vessel nominations or unpaid balances are non-Mocario liabilities.
How are quality claims handled?
Claims are reviewed against evidence, records and agreed order terms.
Mocario remains the sole commercial and contractual contact. Obvious defects should be reported within 30 days after receipt, supported by carton counts, clear photographs, affected quantities, and defect ratios. Latent defects are reviewed case by case, and any response depends on verified findings and the agreed order requirements.
Condition Notice: Mocario does not manage direct B2C consumer returns or individual end-user warranty claims.
Can buyers audit or visit the factory?
Audits can be coordinated after formal cooperation begins.
Before the first order and payment, Mocario may share only the factory city, relevant certifications, and confirmed capabilities. After formal cooperation begins, factory audits or visits can be coordinated by Mocario while all project communication continues through Mocario.
