01 -- Two different samples
Development starts with direction. Production starts with proof.
The Development Sample and the Pre-Production Sample serve different purposes. Keeping them separate makes approval, costing and production responsibility clear.
Stage 01
Development Sample
D·01Turn a reference into a workable product.
This sample is made from a customer's product direction: an image, physical reference, concept or defined brief. It is used to assess materials, construction, fit, footbed, outsole, color, branding and other development decisions.
Stage 03
Pre-Production Sample
PPS·01Make the approved standard from bulk materials.
The PPS is made only after the commercial conditions are confirmed, the PO is checked, the PI is accepted and the agreed initial payment condition is fulfilled. It uses the materials intended for the bulk order.
02 -- Commercial release
No production shortcut replaces a clear order.
Before a PO is accepted, the product and commercial conditions must be understood in writing.
Confirm the product and the terms before the PO.
The formal Development Sample must be completed before the first formal quotation. Before the customer issues a PO, Mocario and the customer confirm the approved sample, final price, quantity, delivery timing and payment terms, together with the applicable packaging, testing, inspection and documentation requirements.

PO review
Mocario checks the PO against the confirmed terms. Inconsistencies must be corrected before execution.

PI confirmation
Mocario issues the PI. The customer confirms it by email and normally returns a signed copy.

Initial payment
The agreed first payment condition must be fulfilled before PPS preparation.
03 -- PPS release gate
The customer's written approval releases the bulk order.
Freeze the reference
The approved formal sample and agreed information define the reference for materials, colors, construction, sizing, logo, labels, packaging, testing and inspection.
Check production materials
After PO, PI confirmation and the agreed initial payment, the factory makes the PPS with the materials intended for bulk production. Mocario checks it first and submits the relevant photos, video and information.
Release procurement and production
Only after the customer approves the PPS by email may the factory proceed with bulk purchasing and production. Production timing runs from PPS approval.
04 -- From approval to shipment
One managed line of communication.
Mocario remains the customer's commercial contact throughout development, production coordination, quality escalation and FOB export delivery.
