01 -- The process

Eight steps to a confirmed sample.

Each step is documented and reviewed. Nothing moves forward until the previous stage is confirmed in writing.

Client input

Share your product direction

Send us images, a physical reference, or a concept. Include materials, structure, footbed, outsole, colours, sizes, target quantity, packaging, market and compliance requirements. The more complete your brief, the fewer rounds of sampling you will need.

Mocario consolidates your brief into a structured development request. We verify the project fits our product range, confirm what is feasible, and flag any missing information before anything moves to the factory.

Factory input

Material, structure and risk assessment

Our partner factory reviews your brief and proposes materials and construction methods. They assess technical feasibility, cost risk and project MOQ. At this stage we do not provide a price -- we confirm whether your direction can be made.

Factory production

The factory makes your development sample

Using your confirmed brief, the factory produces the first physical sample. Mocario follows the progress and performs a physical check of the sample before it is sent to you.

Mocario follow-up

We inspect and document the sample

Before the sample reaches you, Mocario reviews it in person -- checking materials, stitching, structure and overall quality. You receive photos, video and our assessment alongside the physical shipment.

Formal confirmation

Sample and specification freeze

Once you approve the formal sample in writing, we freeze the full specification -- materials, colours, structure, sizing, logo, packaging and testing requirements. This becomes the reference for your PPS and production.

02 -- What happens next

From confirmed sample to production.

Once your formal sample is approved, the commercial process begins. Mocario provides the first formal quotation based on the physical sample, and every following stage is documented and confirmed.

PPS

After your PO and PI confirmation, the factory produces a pre-production sample using bulk materials for your written approval.
