01 — Quotation inputs
Give the factory something measurable.
The brief does not need to be perfect, but it must identify the decisions that affect feasibility, development work and actual cost.
Product direction
Identify the moccasin type, intended use and the reference photos, sketches or physical sample that establish the direction.
Materials
Define the upper, lining, footbed and suitable existing outsole direction, including relevant texture, thickness and performance expectations.
Fit and sizes
Provide the target market, sizing system, size range, Regular or Wide needs and expected sock-wearing conditions.
Brand presentation
List logo placement, labels, color references, packaging format and any customer-specific presentation requirements.
Commercial scope
Share quantity by style and color, target market, desired timing, target price reference, testing and inspection needs.
02 — Cost evaluation
A target price guides evaluation. It is not the quotation.
The formal price follows physical development because images do not reveal every material, construction or labor input.
Organize the brief
Confirmed requirements and open decisions are separated for factory review.
Develop the sample
The partner factory makes the paid development sample against the working brief.
Review actual inputs
Materials, consumption, construction, labor and project conditions are evaluated.
Issue formal quotation
Mocario states the applicable product and commercial conditions after the cost review.
No formal quotation is issued from a reference image alone. MOQ and price remain project-specific until the relevant inputs have been evaluated.
03 — What the quotation confirms
Connect the developed product to its commercial conditions.
The quotation should be read together with the confirmed sample direction and its applicable scope. A changed specification may require a new review.

- Style, materials, construction, color and agreed presentation.
- Quantity basis
- Applicable MOQ and quantity conditions by project.
- Commercial basis
- USD, FOB Ningbo, payment terms and quotation validity.
- Control basis
- Testing, inspection, packaging and documentation where applicable.
04 — Before the purchase order
Confirm the complete commercial picture.
The PO should match the agreed product and PI. Conflicting documents must be corrected before execution proceeds.
Approved sample
Confirm the formal sample and freeze the applicable product specification in writing.
Price and validity
Confirm the final price, quotation validity and any conditions that could require recalculation.
Quantity and timing
Agree the order quantity, tolerance where applicable and delivery arrangement.
Payment conditions
Confirm the PI by signed return or email and follow its agreed payment terms and due dates.
Testing, inspection and documents
Confirm the target market, test requirements, inspection plan, labels, packaging, shipping documents and customer-specific standards before the PO is finalized.
PPS after order confirmation
After Mocario receives the PO and agreed initial payment, the factory makes the PPS using the intended bulk materials. Bulk material purchasing and production begin only after written PPS approval.
Repeat orders require reconfirmation
“Same as last time” is not sufficient. Reconfirm the BOM revision, color reference, fit and measurements, construction details, packaging and critical control points.
