Give the product
A useful quotation begins with a defined product brief. Share the details Mocario and its partner factory need to assess feasibility and actual development costs before a final quotation is issued.
01 -- Quotation inputs
Define the brief before discussing the number.
The more complete the brief, the more clearly the factory can evaluate construction, materials, quantities and cost factors.
Style and construction
Identify the product direction, such as a Classic Moccasin, Venetian / Loafer, Scuff, Boot Moc / Encore or Kids' Moccasin Slipper. Include reference photos, sketches or a physical reference where available.
Materials and components
Specify upper material, lining, footbed, outsole, foam or other components. Note whether the direction uses leather, suede, nubuck, faux suede, textile, knit, felt or faux fur.
Colour and finish
List colour names or references, finish expectations, contrast details, trim and any material hand-feel requirements.
Branding and packaging
Provide logo artwork, label placement, packaging format, carton requirements and any customer-specific presentation details.
- Size range
- Target market, size system, full size range, Regular or Wide needs, and intended sock-wearing conditions.
- Quantity
- Expected order quantity by style, colour and size. MOQ is evaluated case by case according to the complete product brief.
- Target price
- A target price can help assess whether the direction is worth pursuing. It is not a quotation or a guaranteed price.
- Delivery window
- Desired launch or delivery window, seasonality, and any known booking or shipping dependencies.
Commercial basis
USD / FOB Ningbo
Final commercial terms are confirmed with the product, quantity, packaging, payment, testing, inspection and shipping requirements.
02 -- Cost evaluation
A target is a reference.
Reference images are useful for direction, but they do not contain every cost-driving detail. After the development sample is completed, the factory evaluates the actual construction, materials, components and requested specifications. Mocario then issues the first formal quotation.
Brief
Product direction, materials, colours, sizes, quantity, packaging, market and requirements.
Sample
The factory develops the sample and Mocario checks the physical result before it is shared for confirmation.
Quotation
Mocario provides the formal quotation after actual costs have been evaluated from the developed product.
03 -- Before the PO
Confirm the complete commercial picture.
A purchase order should follow written agreement on the product and the conditions that control its production and delivery.
Commercial discipline
No unclear hand-offs.
Mocario checks the PO against the agreed PI. If the documents do not match, the PO must be corrected before execution.
Formal sample
The formal sample must be confirmed in writing before the product specification is frozen.
Final price
The final price and quotation validity must be agreed before the PO is accepted.
Quantity and delivery
Quantity, quantity tolerance where applicable, and the delivery arrangement must be confirmed in writing.
Payment conditions
Payment terms are agreed according to the project and must be completed according to the confirmed PI.
Testing, inspection and documents
Confirm the target market, testing requirements, inspection requirements, labels, packaging, shipping documents and any customer-specific standards before the PO.
A clear next step
Bring the direction.
Review the reference guidance, understand the sampling route, then send the available product information to Mocario for qualification and development discussion.
