01 -- Direction into form
A product line begins with a defined point of view.
A picture can start the conversation. A viable product requires decisions about shape, use, materials, comfort, sizing and the information needed to repeat it.
From silhouette to range
Classic Moccasin, Venetian / Loafer, Scuff, Boot Moc / Encore and Kids' Moccasin Slippers can be assessed as distinct product directions rather than treated as one generic category.
Explore OEM / ODMDefine the use
Indoor use, primarily indoor use or short outdoor use must be matched with the upper, lining, footbed, outsole and performance requirements.
Extend with intent
A line extension can explore material, color, logo, label, packaging, footbed, outsole or construction details, provided each change is technically reviewed.
The commercial name is not the technical definition.
A moccasin slipper or Encore label does not replace a structure drawing, physical reference, approved sample and controlled specification.
02 -- Material and comfort structure
Comfort is a system of measured choices.
Material hand, inner volume, support and outsole behavior interact. They should be developed together, not selected as isolated details.
Upper and lining
Touch starts at the surface.
Possible directions include cow leather, sheep leather, suede, nubuck, faux suede, textile, knitted and felt uppers, with genuine wool or wool-based lining, faux fur, fleece, textile lining or an unlined construction.
Footbed and fit
Volume changes with comfort.
Footbed thickness, inner length, forefoot volume, instep, heel width, lining compression and the intended sock scenario all influence fit and must be described before approval.
Outsole and construction
The base defines behavior.
Outsole description, construction details, flexibility, weight, grip, bonding and compression should be evaluated against the intended indoor or short outdoor use.
03 -- The technical brief
If it is not defined, it cannot be repeated.
The brief turns a creative direction into a shared reference for development, approval, production and inspection.
Product definition
Reference images or samples, style, use, structure, target size range, color direction and intended customer.
Material control
Material type, supplier or specification, color, thickness or weight, hand feel, lining, footbed and outsole details.
Brand execution
Logo, label, packaging, artwork, placement, dimensions and any intellectual-property permissions supplied by the customer.
Market requirements
Target market, labeling, testing, inspection, customer RSL, children's requirements and required shipping documents.
The approved sample is only one part of the record.
Before production, the approved sample, frozen materials, structure, sizing, branding, packaging, testing and quality expectations need to be aligned in writing.
04 -- Development rhythm
Iteration makes the brief honest.
The sequence matters: qualify the project, collect the direction, assess feasibility, develop a paid sample, review it, then freeze the information needed for a formal quote and production.

Qualify
Confirm the company, product scope, channel, direction, quantity expectation and timing.

Translate
Turn images, samples or concepts into material and construction questions.

Develop
The partner factory evaluates feasibility and makes the development sample after paid sampling terms are accepted.

Refine
Review fit, material, structure, branding and use. Supplier execution errors are handled differently from customer changes.

Freeze
Confirm the formal sample, specifications and commercial conditions before PO and PPS controls begin.
05 -- Quality and launch timing
Launch confidence is built before shipment.
There is no universal lead time or fixed MOQ. Timing and feasibility are assessed project by project, with dependencies made visible before commitment.
PPS before production
After the correct PO, PI confirmation and first payment condition, the factory prepares a pre-production sample using the intended bulk material standard.
Approval before bulk commitment
Bulk purchasing and production do not begin until the PPS is approved and the required information is aligned.
Inspection before release
Mocario performs a pre-shipment random inspection. Third-party testing or inspection can be arranged when required, at the customer's cost.
Timing dependencies
Plan backward from the selling season.
Sampling, revisions, formal quotation, PO, payment, PPS, material purchasing, production, inspection, booking and export documentation are connected. A delay in one stage can affect the next.
